Creating Intacct AP Adjustment via API

We need to bring in historical AP Adjustments that were applied to a new environment and it appears this can be done via API using the nogl = true field.  We can get the adjustment to load as a historical adjustment, but it does not mark the adjustment as paid.

We've tried the payment as both a positive and a negative value and either way it is ignored:

<totalpaid>1000</totalpaid>

Has anyone had success with this?

Confirmed with Support that the API documentation is out of date and it does not support bringing in "paid" or "applied" AP adjustments.
