Package platform services customizations into an application?

Is it possible to package triggers and templates (for example) made on a standard object into an installable application by clients yet?

It's a royal pain to setup various triggers and related items given that there is no way to programmatically do this via the API (or is there?) and there is no method for an ISV to login to the UI to do this on behalf of the customer.

@Donavon Yelton In your platform application, navigate to Selected Objects > Add Existing Object > Select Standard Objects. Choose all the standard objects that have related triggers. When you export your application, the triggers associated with these standard objects will be included.

Thanks Louis! Is there any way to include Smart Events in the application as well?

Ah, I see...Smart Events get exported along with the application.
