Adding files onto a user

Hi all,

I had a query from a customer. They want to be able to upload documents to a user record. For example, let's say the user has signed a document that needs to be kept. The collaboration wasn't usable. I was hoping to use attachments. Any thoughts on how you could do this? Potentially they would like to store more than one document against each user.
