Access value on an embedded page from sage

Hi,

We are embedding an external page into sage. Users need to input data and the form returns an encrypted value back. This is stored in a hidden field on the embedded page. This is working well.

However I need to get a value back from there into sage. Since this is sensitive data, we cannot allow the users to copy the value onto a field in sage.

Does anyone know of a method of a way to retrieve this value?

I would suggest you use an alternative storage, like saving it in a database record, or in a file, then both X3 and other apps would access it. If you use a node bundle it is possible to send and receive vars.
