Bill of Materials - Sub Components lock feature request

Please can you add a lock feature to sub components on the bill for materials page so that a product cannot be made if a sub component is out of stock and marked as locked.

e.g.

Create a Tank of beer (Assembly level 1), Create a Cask of Beer (Assembly level 2 - Bulk process), Add Finings and Beer Duty (Assembly Level 3 - ready for sale)

I Would want to lock assembly level 2 so that if I try to over create at level 3, if there is no stock prepared at level 2 it would stop the process and not create it for me automatically
