contact/{key} - what key?

creating a contact returns the contact details including its sage given id. - https://developer.sage.com/accounting/reference/contacts/#tag/Contacts/operation/postContacts

but to get that contact or delete that contact you have to use a {key} instead of the id. - https://developer.sage.com/accounting/reference/contacts/#tag/Contacts/operation/deleteContactsKey

where do i get this key from if it doesn't get returned when i create the contact?

 

...also... where is the search feature for this forum? does it not have one?

Thank you for your post.

The Key is the contact ID in this instance. 

The search facility is to the right in the top banner.
