Lot numbers aren't populating

Hi I wrote myself a program that takes a CSV(comma separated file) and then reads the lines in one by one into the preceding field in Sage. So far everything works expect for the lot number that just refuses to populate if the lot numbers are the same. (This was all coded to work with Sage 200)

if you guys would like I wont mind sharing a screenshot of the code on here that reads the data into sage from the CSV . My assumption is that that's the way sage 200 is intended to work , that similar lot numbers are a no go ?

Can you just clarify what you mean by 'lot numbers'? Which area of the program are you importing information in to?

it is part of the purchase order module.

Its not a term I am familiar with in the POP module.

Can you show me a screenshot of the field you are attempting to update please? I can then look to see how this is updated or if we have any examples in our help files.
