Inquiry about alternative authentication methods for Accounting API

Hi,

I am interested in using the Accounting API, and I have reviewed the documentation on authentication available at https://developer.sage.com/accounting/guides/authenticating/authentication/.

I was wondering if there are any alternative methods of authentication available for the Accounting API and if the OAuth 2.0 method described in the documentation is the only option.

Thank you for your question. At present there are no alternative means of authenticating an application with Sage Business Cloud Accounting.

Was there a specific use case that you had in mind that would require a different implementation of the oAuth flow?

Thank you for your response. Yes, the solution I am working on aims to provide continuous data synchronization between Sage Business Cloud Accounting and solutions from other companies. In my case, the OAuth flow is possible and completely secure, although it requires additional work and imposes certain limitations.
