Sage Developer Workspace - Getting started

I am a developer trying to integrate the sage intacct api with our application , my client have all the admin access for the sage intacct. I asked for a sender id and password to use it for api authentication, they already provided me with a web service user credentials, when i asked them for sender id and password, they sent us only sender id .   I don't know how the screen will , i need to know whether they can create a sender password along with sender id or what should i ask them to give me sender password.
