  1. @Lee Savidge I am using the XML Gateway. What is the difference between the two?
  2. Thanks @Sterio, Louis, a few follow-up questions: Are the password requirements for the sender ID the same as for a user password? Are we able to supply a new sender password ourselves? Our company would like to rotate it every so often according to our own policies. How long can we expect a sender_password change request to take? I ask because our company will be running this integration often and need to make sure we can update our systems in a timely manner.
  3. I don't see anything about key-based authentication when using the API in the developer docs. Am I missing something or is this not an option?
  4. Hi, I am trying to reset a Web Service users password. I am having two problems. First, in one environment, when I set the "Account email address" to my own and double-check that it is correct and then click "Reset password" from the "Web Services user information" screen, I do not receive an email. It is not in my inbox or spam. The "Primary email address" is "[email protected]", but that shouldn't matter, right? Second, in a different environment, when resetting a Web Service user's password from the main screen, I do receive the email, but the new password is given to me. My company has a set of requirements for passwords so I would like to set this password myself. Is this possible?
  5. Is it possible and or necessary to change a Web Services Sender ID and password every so often?
  6. Hello, When is slide in authentication used? I see that when I call the generateAPISession function, a temp slide in is sent. However, I cannot find anything in the docs about when I should be using this, as it looks like it just is set to be an empty string for me. Also, in the Web Services documentation, it says that after we call generateAPISession, we should use the endpoint url and session ID that we receive in the response for subsequent responses. It also says that the endpoint url will be unique and an *.intacct.com domain. However, in my testing with postman, the endpoint url returned by generateAPISession has always been https://api.intacct.com/ia/xml/xmlgw.phtml. Is it always going to be this?
