Regional Versions

I have a customer that currently uses the UK-region product (I still know it as SageOne), but they are now starting a business in Spain. Is there a version of SageOne for use by Spanish businesses, and if so is the API common to both?

Hi Reginald,

Thank you for your question.

If the product they intend to use in Spain is Sage Business Cloud Accounting and you're using V3 or V3.1 API's for your integration the integration will work. The API's are common for CA, ES, FR, IRE. UK and US versions of Sage Business Cloud Accounting. 

There are differences for Spain such as Sales Corrective Invoices  and tax being calculated on the invoice rather than the item_line for example.  You can obtain a trial subscription for Spain using the links at https://developer.sage.com/accounting/quick-start/set-up-the-basics/.

Hi Mark,

I'm trying to set up a trial using the link you provided, but I just cannot seem to get an email verification code sent through. Is there some sort of validation on which domains are allowable?

Hi Reg,

Is this a signup for Spain? Are you using a different Sage ID for EU to that of UK? If not, try using a new email address that is not associated to a Sage ID.

Hi Mark. I received the invite, and accepted it, but then the same screen came up saying I would get a verification code, and that still hasn't come through.

I have also read and takend on board the email you sent.
